yes, well, you can’t convince everyone can you? I have a feeling that the people with the not so kick ass product often lack judgement on their products. Which means they stop short of developing the thing properly. Too much near enough is good enough.
Along with the fact that everyone wants to make craploads of money, resutling in a whole lot of people scared to share knowledge for fear of losing control. Need I say, Microsoft and open source?
